On August 1, the chairman of the SEC, Atkins, stated that staff has been instructed to research how to adjust the custody system to promote the development of cryptocurrency asset custody services, while also directing staff to create a framework that allows for the parallel trading of crypto securities and non-crypto securities. To accommodate the trading of tokenized securities, the SEC may need to consider revising the National Market System Rules. ( Jin10 )
